Thursday Nights At Our House

This my friends, is the favorite TV show at the
Munger house on Thursday nights.  Do not call
or come over at 8:00 p.m. because you will be ignored!!
I can't decide if I like Junior and Willie the best or
Troy Landry and team.  We love this show!!

Trey and Makena were practicing shooting gators!!

He's got the look :)

She doesn't look like she could hit a thing shooting' like this,
but she hit the target every time!!

T gave up on gators and started aiming at the birds :)

If we catch it, we also love to watch "Wipe Out"
on Thursday nights.  To some it is stupid, but we find
it quiet hilarious to watch people fall and bounce off
their targets :)

Carlie had went inside during all the shooting fun, but I wanted to give you and update on her plant project:  she got an A!  Oh, yeah I'm doing a dance :)  I'm so proud of both of my girls for their good work in school.  Trey has been doing pretty good on his school work and we are working on learning the Lord's Prayer.  Both of my girls could say it all at age four and T is five, so we're a little behind, but he is doing good so far.
Not too much has been going on this week.  Carl hasn't had to work too late because of the rain we got on Monday and it looks like we might get some more tonight or early morning, we'll see.  I know we need to get the rice planted, but it sure would be nice to have a weekend off :)
Hope everyone has had a terrific Thursday!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...

This week, we pulled out one of our very favorites: Ritz Cracker Chicken.  We all love this, but it is Trey's very favorite meal.
