The Puppies Are Here!

Our sweet little dog, Happy had her puppies yesterday and the kids are SO excited!  We knew we didn't see her when we were leaving for school yesterday and I when I got home I looked everywhere for her and couldn't find her.  The first thing they asked when I picked them up yesterday was if Happy was back.  As soon as we got home the search was on!  We found them (and Happy) under the house and Carl got them out when he got home.  She had four, but one didn't make it :(  So now we have three, one for each kid I guess (even though I say we aren't keeping them!).  We have to find good homes for them, so if you know anyone who wants a rat terrier, I'll be giving them away in 6 weeks :)  Here are some pictures of the proud mama and her pups:
They look like little rats!
There are two boys (born without tails) and one girl.

Happy was so tired

One of the kids took this...probably Carlie!

I couldn't post pictures of the dogs on here without posting a couple of the cats:

So that brings us to a grand total of three cats, 5 dogs, and a fish!  All of them are for sale :)

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
