Trey Goes To Kindergarten

Eating his breakfast...oatmeal, toast, and apple juice in his
Cars plate, bowl, and cup:)

The whole family was ready to go!
I wish I had taken a closer picture of Carlie's shirt.  It said:
I'd like to apologize now for my behavior brother!
When she bought it, she knew she was going to wear it on T's
first day of school!

Such a cutie

Once we got to school he was quiet and
very obedient.

He was ready to start the video!

Well today was FINALLY the day that we've been waiting for.  Trey went to school :) Carl went to school with us this morning and came to eat lunch with us.  Since I helped today I watched him as he interacted with all the other little kids.  It was so sweet how all the other kids in the class helped the Kindergartners today.  Mrs. Odom told me that during story time Trey told some knock knock jokes!  He's already trying to be the class clown!  During recess I looked on the stage and saw Trey giving a little first grader a nuggey....then the other little boy gave Trey one.  It was so funny.   Every now and then I would go down and peek in his room (when I wasn't too busy) and I saw him wearing his little headphones and opening up his little folder.  It was so cute :)  To top it off, when we were walking out of school, he said "school was great!"!  I was very proud of him today.  I love you to the moon and back sweet boy :)

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
