First Snow of the Season

I can't believe that it's December 7th and we have snow on the ground...in southeast AR!!  That has to be a record or something.  It was absolutely beautiful, and what was even better was that we didn't have to miss a day of school because the roads were perfectly clear :)  I'm not ready for snow days just yet....I want to be done with school in the month of May!  Here are a few of the pictures that Carl took this morning....by lunch it was already melted, but it was so pretty while it lasted.

Our Christmas cards for this year.
I went with the big 5x7 card this year just because I wanted to put a bunch of little snapshots taken throughout the year on there.  I even put a picture of me and Carl :)
I've had them for like two weeks and just got them mailed this week!  That's so not like me, but this working three days a week thing has made me not such a scheduled person.  I'm learning to go with the flow.
Tomorrow Carl and I are going back to LR to try and finish up our shopping.
No rest for these weary bones!
Happy Wednesday, Friends!!

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
