Yesterday Carl and I took the kids to stay at his sister, Wendy's house. It was just an overnight trip, but we had a lot of fun. We got to watch some old videos from back before Carl was even born. He really enjoyed seeing everybody in their younger days :)

Even though we were only gone for one night, it's always so great to be back home and "back to normal". The kids are at a previously cancelled Christmas party tonight and Trey and Carl are just doing boy stuff, which leaves me to blog :) We are very excited about our New Year's Eve party tomorrow night (a bonfire-did you expect anything else?!). It looks to be great weather and we can't wait to spend the first day of the New Year in The Lord's House worshipping him.
